Balto Block Party '09

The day started off very interesting, Paul Henning an myself met a man named Bruce who was making a donation to Assembly Of God Church, Bruce told us he is a former addict who use to buy drugs in the area. But 3 weeks ago saw the cross hanging on the wall one night and asked God to help him, As Bruce was praying he heard gun shots, he felt pain on the side of his head, Bruce was shot in the head, the bullet passed right thru his ear an glazed his head. 5 Shots went thru the window's of Bruce's car as he sat there begging God to help him. Bruce knew then that only God saved him from certain death, not only from being shot but from his addiction as well. Bruce now has 3 weeks Free an Clean from his addiction.

Knuckles and several other members of the RUGGED CROSS Motorcyle Club and Christian Motorcyle Club rolled up on their Harley's, Grabbed a bite to eat, washed the bugs down and talked with everyone, praying with others an talking with the addicted an homeless about a new and improved life with Jesus Christ. They made a donation and asked about getting to know the WATERBOYZ more. Pastor Steve an James Nixon was very pleased these guys showed up, an thought it was very inspirational to the surrounding community the things these men had to share with others. They are looking forward to coming back in October an helping us out with our next Balto Block Party.
