Battle to Fight – Adventure to Live – Beauty to Rescue --- These are the core desires that are deep in the heart of every man. From the Amazon rain forests to the halls of Parliament, from the classrooms of the great universities to the shop floor of the factory, these desires are universal and true for every man. They are essential in order to live life as a man. They may have been misplaced, forgotten, or misdirected, but they do not go away; they go underground and surface later in anger, addiction, and compulsion. Woundedness, misinformation, and poor training are the arrows that keep many men from knowing their heart and who they are.

Too many men are frustrated, angry and being crushed under the weight of criticism, fear, uncertainty and expectations.

The attempted solutions of recent years is education; tell men what they are doing wrong and give them stuff to memorize. This strategy doesn’t work. It just doesn’t cut it for men.
